Panic! At The Disco (with general update on life at the start)

It's been a week and I have absolutely no idea what to write about, loads has happened but most of it boring everyday stuff so I don't see why that would interest anyone, including myself. Maybe I'll just run through everything quickly here at the start while I try to think of something interesting to write about. I'll just give everything an elongated sentence to explain themselves. I got an appointment to see a consultant about my wrist (remember? Weronika kicked me and I have a cyst I gotta get removed) but it isn't for two years so I have to go private which is shit, but means I might get it sorted soon enough. I had a meeting with the school careers guidance councillor  and I didn't hate it as much as expected, she did spend a lot of the time telling me how amazing I am and how my fairly good Junior Cert was a serious underachievement, which is always nice to hear (basically I could fucking amazing if I could be arsed, as far as I can tell). I was sick and that was horrible (still kinda am a little) but I got 3 days off school for it. Other than that my days have been spent on Tumblr and watching various videos and TV shows. There's a new show called 'Black Sails' which only has one episode out so far but it's pretty awesome, all about pirates and shit like that. My friend was trying to get me to watch it and she just said this " its got pirates and blood and lesbians, it's great" and I was pretty convinced after that point (I may have added the punctuation but other than that it's exactly as she said). I still don't know what to write about though.
Okay, so I left it for a while and I'm listening to music so I just wanted to point out the brilliance of the line "I know it's sad,
But I never gave a damn about the weather,
And it never a gave a damn about me"
Don't you agree? I'm not sure what it is about that line but I just really love it, there's not much else I can say about it except tell you to listen to the song which I'll stick in here somewhere.
It's a really nice song, even if that line means nothing to you, you should listen to the song. On the topic of Panic! At The Disco (henceforth known as P!ATD because that's a long name, I'll mention it at the start of anything I write mentioning them but y'know, I'm lazy), I was listening to this song by them called Girls/Girls/Boys (not sure if its about a threesome or bisexuality but I think its bisexuality) and I had the video playing on full screen while I was doing whatever on my phone. The video features Brendon Urie naked (you only see him from the waist up) with a complete blank backdrop, so my mother walks in and glances at my screen right at the point where it decides to zoom in on his belly button. She just kinda backed out of my room looking slight confused and very disturbed, needless to say, I didn't leave the room for the rest of the evening. It's a good song, you should listen to that too, I'll stick it in here too.
So yeah, that's P!ATD, I'm going to go see them in the Olympia in May this year which is awesome. I should really talk about All Time Low cos they're the next gig I'm going to... I have plenty of time though, it's not till March (In about 55 days, I've been told).
Anyway, that's me, I should be on within the next week,

This Turned Into A Frozen Review, Oops...

Okay, so its been two weeks, so what? I know I already broke my new years resolution but in fairness my laptop did break, and I'm sick, that's gotta get me some leeway, right? I am actually quite sick and my mum is making me go to school tomorrow, which sucks, it also means that I probably shouldn't be up at 1.30 writing this, but fuck it, here I am. I just watched Frozen, y'know the Disney film that just came out, I was quite surprised at how little Elsa featured in the film considering how much she's talked about on Tumblr. Elsa is the snow queen one and the movie is kind of about her but more her sister, Anna (which is pronounced the Nordic way, with the long 'A' at the start, so it's kinda like Awnna but not quite) and her love story which was a little stupid and pretty predictable by about the halfway point. I also think it would've been a much better film if at the end they had left it at (*SPOILER ALERT*) the point where everything is frozen and Anna had just sacrificed herself to save her sister, instead of bringing her back with 'the power of true love' which was a bit of a bullshitty (I can't decide whether that has two t's or one) ending but I suppose it is a children's story, for which it was a very good one. It also did teach a good lesson which many Disney movies have neglected, the whole don't marry someone the first time you meet them thing (or even fall in love with them) cos you don't actually know them at that point they could actually be an asshole and are just hiding it, but I do know that already, that's mainly for the kids (and idiotic teenagers, occasionally idiotic adults too actually), my favourite feature of the film were the Trolls, they were brilliant, as were the reindeer and snowman (who is a lot like Weronika). All in all, while the movie was a bit shit there were some decent characters and it was enjoyable enough to watch. If you've got a bit of time and you don't know what to do with it (or you've scrolled to the bottom of your Tumblr feed and there's nothing new there) watch Frozen, it's not a brilliant movie but it is alright and it's really pretty.
I'm not sure how this ended up being a review of Frozen but it did, hope you enjoyed it, I'm gonna try go to sleep now so g'night.

New Year, New Blog

I've changed the name of the blog because 'Munchkins' was really stupid. I changed it to my current Tumblr URL because I'm not all that creative and it's a nice enough URL. Also for my new years resolution I resolved (that's probably not quite right but fuck off) that I would come here and post something at least once a week, I'm not sure that I'll keep it because I'm not great at keeping at things but I would like to. It also looks different, that's quite simply a result of my boredom, as is the name change, I've been planning to do it for ages but, even though it took me about a minute and a half, I've been procrastinating as always, so it took me a few months to actually do it. Christmas was great, I got gig tickets, music and books which all make this year good, I also got this necklace with my name in it written on a piece of rice which is pretty cool. One of the gigs I got tickets to was the Strypes in Cavan which I have already mentioned (talked about at length). It was fucking amazing if you were wondering, I was right at the front and my hearing is still fucked (which probably isn't good), I also got a t-shirt which says 'Live In Cavan' on it, not something a huge number of people have. On New Year's Eve (what is it, 4 days later) I saw the Strypes again at the NYE Countdown Concert (which is technically 18s but whatever they barely glanced at me), they played pretty early on because they had to get a plane to Limerick (like a 2 hour drive from Dublin) because they were preforming at Limerick's respective NYE Countdown Concert (cos Limerick is this year's city of culture), they were really good though. After them there was some fairly boring guy who is apparently pretty famous, can't remember his name, who was followed by MKS also known as the original Sugababes which I didn't enjoy, in the slightest, it was horrible, quit amusing to see all the people who can only be described as lads getting really into it and knowing all the lyrics, when that was (finally) over Madness came on and did a few songs before midnight, took a break about 2 minutes before and until the fireworks ended (about a minute after the clock struck midnight). Madness were really great, which is an improvement on last time I saw them when they were kinda shit, they were great fun and really energetic so that was good, they played until about one I think, possibly a little longer and then we headed home. The one weird thing that happened at it was seeing my Junior Cert. English teacher there, she said hi and we had a chat between songs when the Strypes were on and then she disappeared into the crowd which was fine until Madness when she reappeared slightly behind my mum and was dancing which is a weird thing to see your English teacher do (she's not all that young). Anyway I'm gonna stop talking now and go so bye!
